Be Expansive, Be Grounded and Connect to your True Self with our Infinite Community of Creative Energy

 About us

Established in 2017, Kula Kids became Cayman's first Children's Yoga Studio, offering holistic and developmentally supportive classes for children and families from the prenatal stage through 18 years of age. Rooted in the belief that yoga is far more than movement alone, Kula Kids was created to provide a nurturing space where children could build confidence, self-awareness, emotional resilience, mindfulness, and connection through yoga and holistic wellness practices.

In 2025, Kula Kids evolved beyond the traditional studio setting with the vision of creating "yoga with no walls," bringing classes and experiences into nature and outdoor environments throughout the Cayman Islands. This transition reflects our belief that healing, growth, and connection are deeply supported through time spent outdoors and in relationship with the natural world.

With intentionally small class sizes, we are able to create meaningful, individualized experiences that honor both the unique needs of each student and the collective energy of the group. Our classes integrate yoga, mindfulness, breathwork, creativity, play, and nervous system support in ways that encourage children and teens to feel grounded, empowered, and connected to themselves and others.

At Kula Kids, we encourage our students not only to practice yoga on the mat, but to live yoga in their daily lives—through kindness, self-awareness, compassion, balance, resilience, and authentic connection both within themselves and their communities.

 Our Philosophy

Every child is a different kind of flower, and together they make this world a beautiful garden. At Kula Kids and Kula Consulting, we believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to grow, thrive, and be supported in ways that honor their unique strengths, challenges, and journey. Our philosophy is rooted in a holistic approach to wellness that nurtures the connection between the body, mind, breath, emotions, spirit, relationships, and environment.

Through our programs in yoga, mindfulness, breathwork, Ayurveda, equine-assisted learning and therapy, movement, nature-based experiences, and holistic wellness education, we strive to create safe, inclusive, and compassionate spaces where children, teens, adults, and families can reconnect with themselves and others in meaningful ways.

We believe wellness is not simply the absence of illness, but the presence of balance, self-awareness, resilience, connection, joy, and purpose. Our practices are designed to support emotional regulation, nervous system balance, confidence, focus, creativity, communication, and overall well-being while encouraging healthy habits that can be carried into everyday life.

Yoga teaches us how to move through life with awareness and compassion. Mindfulness helps us better understand and manage our emotions. Breathwork supports calmness, focus, and nervous system regulation. Ayurveda encourages balance by honoring the unique needs of each individual. Equine-assisted experiences provide opportunities for trust, emotional growth, confidence, and authentic connection through interactions with horses and nature.

At the heart of everything we offer is the belief that healing, learning, and growth happen best in environments where people feel seen, heard, safe, and supported. With intentionally small group sizes and individualized approaches, we are able to meet each participant where they are while fostering a sense of community and belonging.

We encourage our students and clients not only to practice wellness during a class or session, but to live it—to carry mindfulness, kindness, balance, resilience, and connection into their relationships, homes, schools, workplaces, and communities. Our goal is to provide practical tools and meaningful experiences that empower individuals to navigate life with greater confidence, awareness, and inner peace while cultivating lifelong well-being in a holistic and sustainable way.
